Welcome to Poultry Days!
POULTRY DAYS 2023 ~ June 9,10,11
POULTRY DAYS SAYS THANK YOU!
Following a very successful Poultry Days 2022, I would like to thank the Versailles community
for your support of this year’s festival. For 71 years this community has come together to volunteer, participate, and support the festival. The money raised from Poultry Days is distributed throughout our community and with your support we can continue to donate to various organizations that make our
community a great place to live.
Personally, I would like to thank the Versailles Poultry Days Committee and Chairmen for their tireless work and effort to make every year, but especially Poultry Days 2022, a huge success. There were many unknowns going into this year’s festival but each of you were optimistic and your efforts did not go unnoticed. Together, we broke records and carried out a safe and successful festival. The community and I have you all to thank!
Please mark your calendars for the 72nd Versailles Poultry Days to be held June 9, 10 & 11, 2023.

2022 GRAND PARADE MARSHALS
Terry, D & Shirley Johns
Terry Johns and D & Shirley Johns are very excited and honored to be selected as honorary parade marshals for the 2022 Poultry Days Grand Parade. The parade will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, June 11th as part of the three-day festival to be held June 10-12th 2022.
D and Terry moved to Versailles from St Marys at a young age and along with Shirley graduated from Versailles. They started working in the grocery business for their dad in 1968. They have seen the grocery store grow from a small building on East Main St. to their current location with a gas station, car wash and restaurant. Shirley came on board in 1976. As a true family business, you will routinely see all three generations stocking shelves at the IGA.
