The pick up location for bulk coolers will be located at 280 Marker Rd., Versailles Ohio at the new high school.

PLEASE NOTE: you will NOT be able to purchase individual dinners at the bulk cooler pick up location. Individual dinners can be purchased via the walk-thru or drive-thru lines at the old high school.

The festival is held at 459 S. Center St Versailles, OH 45380.

Ultimate Frisbee events are held south of the festival grounds on Highway 185 and at Heritage Park, 10200 Klipstine Road, Versailles, Ohio 45380.

The Grand Parade is Saturday at 11:00am.

There is no dedicated parking at the festival.

Festival goers can park on nearby side streets, the library, pool or high school as long as “No Parking” signs aren’t present.

There is limited handicapped parking on South Center Street and Reed Avenue.

Chicken is served:

Friday 3:30-8pm

Saturday 11:30-7:30pm

Sunday 11am-7pm.

Chicken is served rain or shine through our walk-thru line (with dining tent) and our four-lane drive-thru.

Our chicken lines can serve over 2,000 dinners per hour.

We served 37,000 chicken halves at the 2023 festival. We are shooting to break that record in 2024!

BECAUSE IT HEARD THERE WAS GOING TO BE A CAGE MATCH AND THOUGHT IT WAS FINALLY TIME TO PUT ITS COOP ON THE LINE.

The board reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the festival who is not following rules or otherwise disrupting the family friendly atmosphere and the enjoyment of other festival goers.

This chicken wasn’t just any ordinary barnyard bird -it was the undisputed champion of "Featherweight Wrestling"! It strutted into the arena, ready to take on the legendary Sanoma Rooster in a winner-takes-all beakdown. With wings spread wide, it clucked confidently, knowing that all those years of dodging farmers and sprinting across roads had prepared it for this moment. The crowd went wild as the referee, a wise old owl, signaled the start of the match. The chicken lunged, executing a perfect flying peck, while its opponent countered with a devastating wing slap! Feathers flew, the crowd gasped, and just when it seemed like all hope was lost -the chicken summoned its secret move… THE COOP CRUSHER! One… Two… Three! The bell rang, and the chicken was declared the World Champion! And thus, it finally proved that crossing the road wasn’t just about reaching the other side -it was about getting the title after 74 years!

Visitors, participants and vendors may be photographed or filmed and these images may be used for promotional purposes.
