The 2018 Versailles Poultry Days will be June 8th, 9th & 10th.
Welcome to Poultry Days “Poultry Going Platinum”!!
The Versailles Poultry Days’ Board of Directors and the Village of Versailles welcome you to the 67th annual Poultry Days festival June 8th, 9th and 10th 2018.
Poultry Days, an annual community festival which began in 1952 to celebrate the area’s history as a leading poultry-producer, is held the second full weekend in June. Arrive early to enjoy one of our World Famous chicken dinners and maybe get the “ONE MILLIONTH” chicken dinner sold. We expect to serve over 25,000 of these delicious chicken dinners, but they can sell quickly.
This year the festival expects to sell its ONE MILLIONTH chicken dinner. To recognize this milestone a theme of "Poultry Going Platinum" has been selected.
The festival is always packed with many activities for people of all ages to enjoy. There are two parades, the Grand Parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday and the Antique Car Parade at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. The Village will host the 37th annual Ultimate Frisbee Tournament, which is one of the top tournaments in the nation. Some of the other activities will include: Miss Chick and Little Miss Poultry Days Contests, FREE Kiddie Tractor Pull, rides and games for all ages, Vendor Area, Cake and Egg Contests, Flower Show, and Art & Photo Show along with many other family friendly events.
Returning for 2018: The festival’s 5K continues to grow as a member of the Darke County Wellness Challenge; the Bear Hollow Woodcarvers and Valley Exotics.
Bands have been booked and will be announced with a couple of new bands added to the lineup.
Mark your calendar, schedule your vacation and check the links and information on this website periodically for updated information. If you have specific questions please contact us.
We look forward to seeing everyone in June!

POULTRY DAYS SAYS THANK
On behalf of the Poultry Days Committee I would like to thank the Versailles Community for your support of this year’s festival. For without the numerous volunteers of both individuals and organizations along with our partnership with the Village of Versailles and Versailles Schools the festival simply would not be able to take place. Through your support we in turn are able to donate funds back into the community along with maintaining Heritage Park for all to enjoy. Personally, I would like to thank this year’s committee for doing on outstanding job on another record breaking year. In addition, thank you to my family for their support and especially my wife, Nicole for serving on the committee with me and supporting this organization.
your calendars for the 68th annual Versailles Poultry Days to be
held June 14, 15 and 16 2019.
