25th Annual Little Miss Poultry Days Contest
The Little Miss Poultry Days Contest will be held on Friday, June 12th
at 6:30 PM, in the Versailles High School Gymnasium.
Participant requirements are as follows:
Eligibility:
Between the ages of 4-6 as of the 12th of June 2009.
Contestants on Court in the previous year’s contest will not be eligible
to participate. Fee: $5.00
Deadline:
Contestants will be limited to 25 entries. Entries selected on a
first received basis from postmarked entries.
ONLY POSTMARKED ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Age will be the determining factor if more than allotted entries are
received on same day. Those unable to participate in next year’s contest due to
age limit will have preference. Notification: Contestants will be notified of their eligibility to compete by May 2nd.
Contestants will be judged on:
Attire: 1)
Originality of Design
25%
2) Appropriate to Poultry/Theme
25%
3) Personality, Poise & Ability to Speak
50%
Attire should represent this year’s theme of “Are You Ready for Some Poultry”.
Derived from “Are You Ready for Some Football” from Hank Williams Jr.
Entry forms can not be postmarked before April 24, 2009. Entries before this date will not be accepted.
